Layer Description
High-resolution projections of daily maximum and minimum temperature, and twenty-four hour cumulative precipitation for weather stations in Puerto Rico for the period of 1960-2099.
Based on Global Circulation Models (GCMs) of the Third Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP3) for IPCC’s three greenhouse gas emission scenarios: mid-high (A2), mid-low (A1B), and low (B1). The global model predictions for precipitation and temperature were downscaled to 72 and 29 station locations respectively.
This layer represents the 71 station locations of the CMIP3 Precipitation Downscaled Climate Data.
