About
This Conservation Action Team (CAT) group provides spatial information relevant to dunes of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Within the selected prioritized beaches the CAT will develop an education & awareness program, to demonstrate benefits, address needs and expectations and promote involvement and a sense of stewardship of stakeholders (community, managers, elected officials). Also, workers of each individual selected beach will have access to our proposed Best Dune Management Practices Guide, related to dune creation and stabilization and technical support will be offered and performed if needed and deemed possible.
